LEARNING EARNING DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (LEDP) 2020 – ICT DIVISION – BANGLADESH.

Learning and Earning Development Project is a significant initiative taken by ICT Division to provide free training in different freelancing skills with the purpose to create opportunities for potential youth of the country.

The project aims to equip ordinary citizens with the capacity to earn revenues through various online channels. It provides a comprehensive guide about various money making opportunities available on the internet. Training is provided on – Digital marketing, Graphics Design, and Web Design and Development.

Registration & Online Exam:

Step-01:
Registration• Fillup the online registration form. During the registration you need to select the district name where you want to do the training course, choose the course name, Basic personal information, Email ID, Mobile Number, National ID or Birth registration Number, parmament address and passport size photograph etc.• Submit the registration.
Step-02:
Online Examination• After submission of online registration form a set of randon question will be view with basic IT and English language.• A Timer will view the remaining time.• Select the right answer from multiple choice questions within the time.• Click the Finish Exam button.• You will show the result.

They conducted training programs with the best trainers in different districts – Dhaka, Rajbari, Shariyatpur, Madaripur, Netrokona, Rangpur, Bogra, Rajshahi, Cottogram etc.

It was 200 hours training where over 900 people participated and got a handful experience which benefited them. Mentoring Centers were opened for the trainees as a post-support system for them in all the 5 Districts. The objective of opening these centers was to deliver 24 hours full support to the participants of the project by top mentors. If they faced any kind of problem after starting their career as freelancers, the mentors provided them proper guidance to solve and learn about those problems. On top of that, the mentoring centers also provided them facilities like accommodation for their convenience.
The success of this project was that the project made the trainees able to start working as freelancers and earn money. Highest earners among them got awards and laptops from the ICT Division which also worked as a motivation for the youth.
