Porn Star Olivia Nova has died aged 20, her agent has confirmed today

Adult film actress Olivia Nova died at age 20 on Sunday in Las Vegas, joining a growing list of young porn stars to succumb to untimely deaths.

Nova's cause of death is unknown.

The adult film actress tweeted on Christmas that she was lonely after spending the holidays by herself.

Her former representatives, LA Direct Models, issued a statement on the news of Nova's passing.

"While only represented by Direct Models for a short period of time, we came to know Olivia as a beautiful girl with a very sweet and gentle personality," the statement read. "It is understood next of kin have been informed. Another one, way too young we are beyond shocked and most certainly, completely out of the blue. Rest in peace, sweet angel."

Nova entered the porn industry in March 2017 and amassed a following of over 20,000 people on Twitter.

The fourth porn star in the adult entertainment industry to pass away in the last three months, her agent announced the sad news on January 9, revealing that her death came 'out of the blue'.

Admitting it was "beyond shocked by the sudden death," LA Direct Models released a statement which read: "While only represented by Direct Models for a short period of time, we came to know Olivia as a beautiful girl with a very sweet and gentle personality.

"Another one, way too young, we are beyond shocked and most certainly, it was completely out of the blue. Rest in peace, sweet angel."

Born in Minnesota, Olivia started out her career as a model after she was scouted at the age of 12.

She eventually moved to Las Vegas and kick started her career in the adult entertainment industry less than a year ago in March 2017.

Tragically, in an interview from last August, she was asked where she saw herself in ten years time, and replied, "I plan on graduating school.

"I also have this huge project, it's non profit, that I want to be a part of," she added to photographer Dave Naz.

Elsewhere in the interview, Nova told how she was shaking with nerves the first time she had to strip off on camera, but 'within seconds' felt comfortable with her body.

She had already starred in several adult movies and had made a name for herself on social media, acquiring 20,000 followers on Twitter.

On her profile, she described herself as a 'vegan dog mom', adding, "oh yeah and I like wine so don’t try and stop me."

In a heartbreaking Tweet, Olivia revealed that she'd spent Christmas by herself.

She was so desperate for company, that she reached out to her fan base on Twitter and asked if she could call somebody to help 'lift her spirits'.

"Alone on the holidays and want to give a fan a holiday call. Would lift my spirits," she tweeted on Christmas day.

The interviewer then asked if she saw the documentary Amy about the late singer.

"I watched it on my way to Hawaii and everybody was looking at me because I was crying on the plane," she said.

Olivia also said she was currently working on her own debut album 'with a pretty big person' but declined to give the name.
